A 1962 Monark Model 962 (M356A) with 350cc/21BHP Jawa 554-05 engine, proudly owned by Mr R. Isakson from Sweden.
This is one of 1000 units made uniquely for the Swedish Army. Some day the Army realised they had bought too many spare engines
for their Jawa ISDT 554 (Army model M355) and ordered a bike where these engines would fit from motorcycle factory Monark.
It came equipped for winter driving, with skis, extra hand gearshift linkage and a rear brake handle on the handle bar!
